Post-Olympic Withdrawal
Well, the Olympics are over, and I have to say... as much as I was hesitant about the idea of the games here, I was pretty impressed with the overall happenings. I had a chance to go downtown to check out some of the festivities and check out Bridges and Breakdowns on the Edgewater stage, I happened to be downtown during the Canada/Russia men's hockey game, and lemme tell ya.... it was a gong show down there.... but one of those gong shows you love being a part of. All of the people dressed in red and shouting "CANADA!" at the top of their lungs was a patriotism that can be rivaled by no one.
There has been a new event added to the calendar, and I would really enjoy it if you would check it out! It's for a great cause! Take care folks! -J. LIVE Webcast Tonight!!!
I will be performing a live webcast tonight of a bunch of songs and covers for the world! I havent decided which website I'm going to stream from yet, but I will let you know for sure over twitter and facebook with an hour or so notice once I do figure it out.
If you haven't been able to make it out to any shows lately, or just want some evening entertainment, you wont want to miss this!! -J. February 12th @ Houstons Pub
Hey! Just wanted to let everyone know that I will be opening up for the always DUMB and UGLY Bridges and Breakdowns on Friday, Feb. 12th @ Houstons Pub in Maple Ridge. You can get all the details on the event page on facebook by clicking here.
Hope to see all of you out! -J. Starting the "Year of Music"
I've been thinking alot lately about how I could improve my site for everyone that comes here to check out my music and blogs. I think the first step was to create a catchy, vibrant home page that was clear, direct, and easy to read and locate items of interest. The next step is to create content that people would enjoy, such as YouTube videos and more home-recorded tunes. The third thing that I like to see on artist pages is a blog. What the artist is up to in THEIR life or lives that is relevant to me as a fan.
I will be keeping this blog current from now on with my processes of writing, shows, updates, and videos. This is going to be the year of music for me, and I want to share as much of it with you, the reader, as I can. So here it goes... the year in music. Be sure to check out the ``Videos`` and ``Events`` pages often for the best source of events and news. -J. New Site Design!
Hey Everyone! Happy New Year!
I hope all of you had as wonderful of a Holiday Season as I did. It was not only productive, but filled with family and friends that I could never replace. I have been working very hard on some new songs as well, and will be putting them up as soon as I can. The new videos consist of mostly covers, but there ARE a couple of originals in there too. Thank you so much for stopping by, and I hope to see you again very soon. The next scheduled live show is February 12th with Bridges and Breakdowns at Houston's Pub here in Maple Ridge, Then a couple more shows downtown Vancouver. Don't forget to tell your facebook friends about the site!!! Take Care, -J. |
